Student Sustainability Leadership Program
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Students develop their leadership skills through the lens of sustainability, and a zero credit internship course. Participants learn effective leadership techniques for leading small groups, completing individual projects, and advocating for change within larger organizations. Students increase their knowledge of a variety of topics, including waste management, water conservation and renewable energy.
Projects conducted include: Pop-Up Thrift Store; Food Recorvery Network; Sus/Zero Waste Workshop during Earth Week; Energy Competition between Dorms/Flyer for Orientation.

A brief description of the student educators program’s target audience (1st program):
The targeted audience of the program is other students living on and participating in classes and other events at the Gonzaga University campus. As an indirect effect of the students' more open projects and events, other demographics including faculty, staff, and the general public may also take away knowledge relating to sustainability topics.
