Research Inventory
Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:
---
A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
--Total number of faculty performing research is defined as the total number of tenured and tenure-track faculty, whether full-time or part-time.
--Total number of academic departments (or the equivalent) where faculty engage in sustainability scholarship is defined as all academic departments, as opposed to course subjects in PRE-5.
--Number of faculty performing sustainability was determined by a review of research requests to the Institutional Review Board and the Office of Sponsored Research and Program, as well as a review of faculty curriculum vitae, spanning from AY 2017-18 to AY 19-20. The AASHE STARS Data Coordinator and the Director of Sustainability analyzed this data to determine if the research focused on sustainability research, as defined by the STARS 2.2 Technical Manual. Any former faculty or non-tenure track academic staff included in this list are also included in the total number of faculty researchers.
