A brief description of the student sustainability research program:
The Gonzaga Student Body Association has in place a generalized Green Fund to provide grants for students to lead research projects that can evolve into implementing and improving sustainability in the operations of the campus. Funding of such projects are based around the university's mission of education and research in an effort to allow student to participate in improving their campus.

The Cataldo Project at Gonzaga University has provided workshops to faculty, since its establishment, on working to research different modes of sustainability pedagogy to implement in their classes and additionally provided opportunities and advice for faculty to conduct their own sustainability research.
Additionally, Gonzaga does offer faculty an internal Faculty Fellow for Sustainability fellowship to encourage them to participate in the Cataldo Project, and work on their own sustainability-related research.

The Foley Library has developed and provided a research guide for students and faculty who wish to research sustainability with the libraries resources. The website developed for this purpose provide links to common sustainability research databases, and provides users with the opportunities to "Ask a GU Librarian" via a chat box should they need assistance.
Additionally the website provides users with access to information regarding the current sustainability operations and initiatives at Gonzaga, including providing them the means to connect with the Office of Sustainability and the InBalance Newsletter.
