Gonzaga uses the Sustainability website as a central resource for sustainability efforts on campus.

On the site, visitors can find information about current events and initiatives, Gonzaga's Climate Action Plan, news and information, background on our commitment to sustainability via our Jesuit values, and Catholic social teachings, and a way to contact those that work on sustainability at Gonzaga.

Members of the Gonzaga community can subscribe to a monthly newsletter, called "InBalance" that focuses on sustainability efforts at Gonzaga. Information and updates are also posted to our Facebook page.

Zag Dining strives to educate customers on source and sustainable food systems as part of its partnership in the Real Food Challenge. Sodexo's commitments for a better tomorrow include reducing carbon and water footprints, promoting healthy eating and living choices, providing local and sustainable food options, promoting community and world-wide sustainability efforts and research, reducing waste and promoting composting, as well as much more. Goals are displayed graphically in banners around the COG. Information is also available in brochures at various Sodexo locations around campus.

At Gonzaga University, we have made a commitment to fully support and participate in the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program that is mandated by Washington State Law. More importantly, CTR will help our community by improving air quality and reducing traffic congestion. Program elements are outlined in a webpage along with links to brochures and pages with additional information about means and benefits of commuting sustainable.
