A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
The Painted Turtle Farm is a campus-community garden. There are 29 raised beds that are utilized by 29 Latino families from the community. They do not pay to be part of the program. There are other parts of the garden that support a CSA program. Students and community members (Latino families) run both parts (CSA program and the community garden) together.
