Students from GECO worked with GreenAllies to plan and host its annual conference on Gettysburg College's campus in 2019. The GreenAllies mission is to empower and support students as they become environmental sustainability leaders. They envision a world where students lead the way to a more livable future by providing student leadership opportunities through service programs that promote a healthier, more sustainable community. This conference was attended by students from many regional colleges - Dickinson, Lafayette, etc.

Additionally the Colleges Painted Turtle Farm manager,sits on the board of Pennsylvania Sustainable Agriculture. PASA
