Does the institution have an ongoing program that offers incentives for academic staff in multiple disciplines or departments to develop new sustainability courses and/or incorporate sustainability into existing courses? :

A brief description of the incentive program(s):
The Johnson Center for Creative Teaching at Gettysburg College provides faculty with opportunities to hone their pedagogical skills, explore collaborative and experiential learning techniques, and incorporate technological innovations. JCCT is currently interested in supporting and promoting the development of new opportunities for students to explore sustainability-focused and sustainability-related fields of study, and will also provide funding for faculty to attend conferences on incorporating sustainability into the classroom.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
JCCT provides funding for several opportunities such as a Summer Fellowship, a Creative Teaching Fellowship, a Teaching Grant, and Department Funding. This funding is geared toward the development of new interdisciplinary courses and/or engaged learning opportunities for students.
