Bike Fix-it station

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

Three bike Fix-it stations are being installed in convenient areas of campus in Fall 2015. The stations will allow for easy bike repair to the bikes that many students have on campus, especially during their first year when they are not permitted to have cars. The hope is that these stations will encourage bikes and bike use in the student population, as well as cut down consumerism associated with non communal air-pumps and bike fixing tools. Increasing bike use on campus will be healthy physically and mentally for students, as well as reduce carbon emissions every time bicycles are chosen over a motor vehicle as a mode of transportation. In addition to these things the bikes are composed of 83.6% post consumer recycled content.
