Title or keywords related to the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Ecovim

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :

The ecovim is a food waste dehydrator. It works by heating and mixing food waste in a seal drum. As it heats the moisture is removed and the churning breaks it down to a course ground consistency. The unit holds 250 pounds and it take about 10-12 hours to complete a cycle. When complete the waste is reduced by 90% in weight.

A brief description of any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation (if not reported above):

We are currently diverting 1400+ pounds of both post-consumer and kitchen waste each week and making a sterile bio-mass, or ground amendment out of it.
Most all of our ground amendment is picked up by our CSA farmer who uses it as compost for growing her certified organic produce.
