A brief description of the campaign (1st campaign):
During the competition, campus residents are challenged to decrease their energy consumption and each building competes to win. On the last day of the competition, there is a "Panther Power Down" event where students watch 'The Lorax' on a big screen on the green, and Georgia Power brings and electric vehicle. Every campus environmental group/organization hosts a table during this event as well.

Based on Georgia Power Energy data, six out of eight student residential buildings decreased their energy by up to 10% during the competition.
