A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:

The School of Hospitality in the Robinson College of Business offers a study abroad program each Maymester, “European Hospitality Experience” that incorporates sustainability in the tours and coursework. The trip is to five European countries - Spain, France, Monaco, Italy and Switzerland. In 2015, the five will include France, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. The brochure for the program states: “The program incorporates tours of major hospitality operations in Europe with an emphasis on marketing, tourism, customer service and sustainable, environmentally proactive practices. Particular attention will be given to the analysis of such practices, the return on investment, advantages/disadvantages to business operation and service levels, and the applicability to U.S. hospitality companies.”
