The Sustainability Advisory Committee is comprised of faculty, staff, and students who provide leadership and support for sustainability initiatives on campus. Created by the Vice President for Student Affairs, the goal of the committee was to organize the campus effort of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Facilities Services, and Student Government. The specific goals of the committee for the most recent academic year were leading the Georgia Southern community through revising its Climate Action Plan and organizing the institution's STARS application, among other tasks.
