The Georgia Institute of Technology will offer a option for campus departments to engage in volunteering opportunities in several ways for the 2023-2024 academic year and beyond. Employees can engage in the following ways: ● Signing up for pre-set events ● Filling out engage form inquiring about volunteer opportunities 1. To supplement work-life balance options for University System of Georgia employees, each full-time, non-temporary employee of the USG shall be eligible for up to eight (8) hours of paid leave per calendar year for the purpose of promoting education in this state. Only activities directly related to student achievement and academic support will qualify for education support leave. 2. MOVE is Georgia Tech's umbrella organization for a variety of community service and volunteer opportunities. Our organization consists of 6 committees that address various issues and provide many service opportunities for GT students, faculty, and staff throughout the year. Our committees meet a variety of needs within Georgia Tech and the Greater Atlanta community and currently include: Animal Welfare, Education and STEM, Hunger and Homelessness, Medical Assistance, Sustainability, and Special Projects.

9,909.0 is the number of on campus residents used to report on this credit. The community service hours are pulled from programs such as MOVE, Student Organizations, Greek Life, and Living Learning Campus which serve primarilty on campus residents. 

In future reporting we will expand to all atlanta-based students including graduate students.
