Georgia Tech offers several certificate programs that are “sustainability-related in the area of health& wellbeing, equity and inclusion and Energy. The offered Certificates are:
Power Systems Certificate:
Develop your skills to model, design, operate, and control power systems with our Power Systems Certificate. You’ll understand how to apply fundamental concepts and principles to the real world so you can solve the challenges your company faces at the same time you advance your career.
Selected Topics in Occupational Health Certificate:
Create a safer workplace by learning how to build an industrial hygiene program in our Selected Topics in Occupational Health Certificate. You’ll learn how to mitigate hazards in the workplace such as excessive noise, ergonomic issues, air pollution, as well as reduce chemical contamination and more.
Women’s Innovation Lab Certificate:
The virtual, four-day certificate program is for emerging women entrepreneurs and innovators around the world who recognize a problem they want to explore solving, have a business idea, or are in the beginning stages of growing their business and want guidance on the next steps. This course is designed to support women in their journey as emerging entrepreneurs. Collaborative and affirming in nature, its purpose is to bolster and empower women founders by providing methods and tools for overcoming the obstacles many female entrepreneurs face. Students will cultivate leadership skills, acquire knowledge and adapt the learning to their specific context to maximize their chance for success. They will be afforded the opportunity to explore the tenets of entrepreneurship and risk-taking in a supportive and contributive environment, learning from successful coaches and established, seasoned entrepreneurs. Moreover, this course will address equity: Women founders often outperform, yet there exists a pervasive equity and funding gap.
