GT Strategic Consulting has conducted surveys to the following units (staff populations only) during the past three years:

A&F Workplace Experience Survey (2017)

College of Engineering OE Survey (2018)

College of Design Culture & Engagement Survey (2019)

The responses received from each survey are as follows:
A&F Workplace Experience Survey – 995 out of 1648 (60% response rate)
College of Engineering OE Survey – 178 out of 390 staff (46% response rate)
College of Design Culture & Engagement Survey – 37 out of 54 staff (69% response rate)

These surveys were administered using the Qualtrics survey platform. The questions were comprised of categories related the following attributes:
Communication
Career progression and development
Supervisor support
Psychological safety
Culture
Organizational commitment

To get the % of employees assessed, the total employees of these departments was added against the total employee headcount of the university.
2092 assessed
10,814 total employees
= 19.3% employees assessed related to employee satisfaction.


A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:

At the conclusion of these various surveys, a combination of focus groups, action planning, and staff engagement events were leveraged to provide actionable strategies and methods to address the issues raised from the survey results.
