All contracts for construction and renovations stipulate a set of preferred waste haulers for contractors to utilize, as well as Tech’s intent to see high levels of C&D waste diverted from landfills. Those preferred haulers share their tonnage data with the campus on an annual basis, allowing for accurate reporting.
