Georgia Tech uses SIMAP to input GHG-related data for reporting. These inputs were derived from the "Second Nature" reporting tool within SIMAP where each emissions type is listed separately.

A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:
Georgia Tech reports to the EPA on air emissions semi- annually. A complete inventory of fuel burning equipment was developed, the fuel usage for each source is metered (where available), and the appropriate emissions factor is applied. Georgia Tech is not required by our Title V Permit to calculate/record SOx, CO, PM, O3, or lead.
