Office of Environmental Stewardship
Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-in waste?:
A brief description of the program:
Georgia Tech's Move-in Recycling Program enables students to recycle their moving boxes by setting up temporary recycling sites throughout the residential areas of campus during the week of move-in. During the fall 2011 student move-in, 14,535 pounds of cardboard were collected in just one week.
Housing, student volunteers, and Recycling provide this service to campus.
