A brief description of the food donation program:
While our goal is to minimize leftover or surplus food, we do donate the leftover and surplus food we do generate. Current programs donating to the Atlanta Food Bank, local Women's Shelters, and Campus Kitchens Project (CKP).
The CKP is a student powered hunger-relief organization. It is the national arm of the award-winning DC Central Kitchen, a recognized model in innovative hunger relief. CKP partners with universities and high schools to engage students, faculty and staff in preparing and delivering meals to local non-profit organizations, homebound seniors and low-income families.
