A brief description of the sustainable food and beverage purchasing program:
Dining Services works with local vendors and campus to provide sustainable dining options. From purchasing local seasonal produce whenever possible to reducing inorganic and organic waste, to leading a campaign to reduce their energy consumption in one of our older dining halls by 26% and building our first new dining hall in over 20 years to be a "green" dining hall, our campus dining team works to provide an exceptional dining experience that is good for you and good for the planet.
