Has the institution implemented a campus-wide inventory system to facilitate the reuse of laboratory chemicals?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

Georgia Tech implemented a chemical inventory and safety systems in 2005. It includes the option to list surplus chemicals so others at the Institute that might need them can use them. It makes our labs safer for not having excess and or unwanted chemicals in storage. It is more economical to use up what we already have on campus than buying new containers of chemicals.
