Faculty and staff have been funded to attend the AASHE annual conference, AASHE workshops, COPLAC conferences, American Society for Quality classes, and the University of Vermont Campus Sustainability Leadership Workshop.

The Chief Sustainability Officer trains all custodial staff and other
facilities staff in the principles of sustainability and the particulars
of the mandatory campus recycling program.
