A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Staff are encouraged to take advantage of benefits that encourage a sustainable lifestyle while promoting health, wellness, and balance between work and home life. Staff are given an overview of benefits, and encouraged to attend the benefits webinar which details benefits including bike share and Smart Benefits, incentivizing public transportation. Orientation is currently remote, which reduces resource use and emissions derived from commuting to campus.
