Practitioner Forum

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Sustainability Minor has formalized professional development as part of its curricular requirements. Students are required to particpate in the Sustainability Practitioner Forums throughout the semester as part of their culminating experience. The goals of the forums are professional development and building a cohort of sustainability-driven students. Themes of the forums include: career coaching, how to launch a start-up, the steps to build internships into a job, documentary film-making, sustainable storytelling, the role of nonprofits in community building, diversity and inclusion, government and private entities moving sustainability forward.
