The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) offers the LEED Strategic Practices (LSP) Program. According to the CaGBC, the LSP Program "provides hands-on experience with the documentation and tools used on actual LEED projects, giving participants the essential skills and knowledge to begin working on LEED projects immediately after completing the program." George Brown College Continuing Education has been recognized by the CaGBC as a partner through which you can register for the LSP Program’s academic course requirements.
Individuals who complete the seven required courses (Introduction to LEED and the Integrated Design Process, Construction Credits and Process, Sites Development and Water Efficiency Credits, Energy and Atmosphere Credits, The Commissioning Process, Indoor Air Quality Credits, and LEED Certification Process and Procedures) are eligible to receive the LSP Program certification from the CaGBC. CaGBC awards the certification. However, George Brown College Continuing Education has been recognized by the CaGBC as a partner through which you can register for the LSP Program’s academic course requirements.
For more information about the LSP Program, visit the LEED Strategic Practices Program web page on the CaGBC website.
