A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
o We counted the number of employees and who conducted research and their departments within three years prior to the anticipated date of submission (fiscal year 2017-2018 to fiscal year 2019-2020). Sustainability research was identified by counting the number of projects that met the STARS criteria for sustainability research as defined in the STARS Standards and Terms. All research projects are stored in GBC’s research database (IAGO). Projects that met the STARS criteria were reviewed and validated by the Research & Innovation Information Architect and the Director, Research & Innovation.
