Wellness is a proactive approach to living, whereby individuals and communities become aware through life learning about making positive choices to create and promote healthy lifestyles. Wellness is the engagement of the mind, body and soul into one's philosophy of living." George Brown College provides a variety of initiatives to encourage and create opportunities for employees to better lifestyles. Programs exist in a number of areas including: Physical Activity, Mental Health, Social Life, Personal Health, Balance, Intellect, Nutrition, Spirituality and Financial health.
