Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

After retrieving data from all stakeholders, we summed expenditures by product and began identifying supplies by product type - green or non-green cleaning product, green or non-green janitorial paper product, or excluded. Green cleaning products were determined as those with a Green Seal or similar label, while green janitorial products carried a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or similar label. Products that were excluded were items that were ineligible to meet any of these certifications - such as vacuums and wet floor signs - and were not reflected in any of the monetary totals reported.
