In the course Materials Creation, Consumption, and Impact, students explore technical and contextual aspects of an e-waste product via hands-on experimentation and research, as they read and discuss sustainability issues such as transboundary flows, political economics, policy and regulation of hazardous waste, recycling processes, environmental justice, health and toxicity, and corporate responsibility.
