A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
Franklin qualifies for the full 2 points for this criterion as they have a working relationship with the local Ticino organization, Pro Natura. Franklin annually partakes in a “Laghetto Clean-up” where students and faculty alike volunteer to help clean up litter and invasive species from the surrounding area of a local pond that is under the management of Pro Natura.
