Franklin has several programs for a variety of underrepresented groups here on campus, such as the PACE Club which works to support the LGBT community. In addition, the Writing and Learning Center provides academic support for students. Franklin also has a counselor on staff for student consultations.

The faculty's personnel committee ensures that diversity is considered during faculty searches. Additionally, the campus counselor is available for faculty consultation.
