The total amount of waste diverted through recycling, donations, composting, or other methods is unknown. We estimated that at least ten percent of the total waste is diverted. Using the equation provided, we calculated the total number of points earned. According to the Sustainability Initiative, Franklin produces 14 tons of total waste.
