A brief description of the program:
Although Franklin does not have a campus car sharing program, Switzerland has a nationwide car sharing program. Mobility has stations in 1,340 locations with over 2,600 cars. The program gives its customers a Mobility card which charges customers 2.80 CHF per hour or 0.52 CHF per kilometer for a base vehicle. The vehicles are environmentally friendly, using fuel efficient vehicles and offering customers the opportunity to buy carbon offsets.
