A brief description of the technology used:
Motion sensors for hallway and common room lighting are present in three of the dormitories on campus. These dormitories include New Building Phase A and B, as well as Alba. The lights are on timers that turn off after a period of time and come back on when motion is detected. These lights are also always off during daylight hours.
