A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
FIE London comprises four Residence Halls and one office building, known as Foundation House. The total square feet of these buildings is 71,070 sq. ft. Foundation House - Main Campus Foundation House is a 19th century townhouse located in South Kensington and serves as the administrative hub for both FIE London's staff as well as classroom space for its students. The building features nine classrooms, a student common room, faculty work stations and staff offices. Depending on enrollment, FIE occasionally reaches out to other academic entities and student residences in the community to provide additional facilities for its students and faculty. FIE's Student Life, Senior Management and Facilities teams carefully vet new locations for classes and housing to ensure FIE standards are upheld. Foundation House is located in South Kensington, an attractive area of southwest London surrounded by historically and culturally significant points of interests (Royal Albert Hall, The Natural History Museum, the newly opened Design Museum, and Kensington Palace). Student Residences FIE students usually live in FIE’s residences, which are converted townhouses similar to Foundation House. Student residence rooms range from singles to quads in a floor or apartment style flats. Student flats share kitchens and bathrooms, which have recently been renovated. FIE housing and safety features such as CCTV and a 24-hour reception desk provide comfortable and safe residences for its students. All rooms are fully furnished and FIE housekeeping staff has a rotating schedule for linens and cleaning. The total number of student residents for the past academic year (2015-2016) was 712 students. Nearby – Transport The London Underground and local buses link students to the rest of the city, while trains from central London link the city to the rest of the world.

If there are features present that are not included within the boundary, provide:

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
FIE also has a presence in Dublin, Ireland. However, as FIE Dublin’s presence is much smaller in scale in comparison to FIE London, FIE has chosen not to include FIE Dublin data in this report. At the beginning of the data collection process, FIE London made every effort to include Dublin in the count; however, after careful consideration it was determined that collecting data from Dublin would be too time consuming and draining for the only 2 FIE staff in Dublin.
