Under the division of Student Affairs, Diversity Programming at Fort Lewis College celebrates Veterans Day, Real History of the Americas Day (on Indigenous Peoples Day), Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Black History Month and Women's History Month. Our goal is to make the college a safe and inclusive place for everyone and to both understand and celebrate the diversity of our community.

Through Common Ground, the College offers bias awareness training for students, faculty, and staff.
Through the LIT project, the College offers regular faculty workshops on inclusive pedagogy and hosts nationally known scholars of Native American or Indigenous Studies each semester.
