Annotated list or inventory of the institution’s sustainability course offerings by department:
Description of the process used to identify the institution’s sustainability course offerings by department:
The team pulled courses by course attributes, keywords in the course title, and based on faculty reports in the recent survey.
The keyword list provided by AASHE identified some keywords as "core", meaning that they are associated with courses very likely to cover sustainability, or "comprehensive", meaning they might cover sustainability and a comprehensive review of course offerings could include them.  That classification is provided in column H.  Column I has three values.  Sustainability Focused courses are those courses that faculty identified as such in the recent survey.  Sustainability Inclusive were also identified as such by faculty.  "Not identified as focus or inclusive crs" appears for courses that weren't identified in the survey at all.

Some courses are taught by many instructors and each instructor might differ in the extent of sustainability-related material.  If two people identified the same course, one as focus and the other as inclusive, we adopted the more conservative classification (inclusive).  If one instructor identified the multi-section course but others did not, we included the course because at least one section of the course included the relevant materials.

Course Development Grants offered by Fordham University's Center for Ethics Education:
Faculty participating in this program receive financial support for their course development efforts, with awards up to $3,000. A significant portion of the grant, up to $2,500, can be allocated as a one-time stipend for the faculty member. The remainder of the funds may be utilized for various support needs related to course development, including hiring undergraduate or graduate assistants, purchasing necessary software, books, scholarly resources, supplies, or covering other legitimate costs. This financial incentive is designed to reduce barriers to the creation of innovative and impactful educational content, enabling faculty to focus on developing courses that meet the program's objectives.

Research Grants provided by the same Center:
Faculty members who receive these research grants are awarded up to $7,500 to support their projects. This includes up to $2,500 that can be paid as a one-time stipend to the principal investigator(s) of the research project. The remaining funds can be directed towards various research-related expenses, such as hiring research assistants, compensating study participants, acquiring data collection tools, purchasing software, books, and other scholarly resources, as well as covering costs for research-related non-conference travel and other legitimate expenses. This financial support plays a crucial role in enabling faculty to undertake and advance meaningful research projects aligned with the center’s focus on ethics, social justice, and health equity.
