As an exemplary and best practice, the 2018 FSU STARS Report has been independently reviewed by Tessa Schreiner, Recycling and Sustainability Manager at Leon County, FL. Tessa sits on the Capitol Area Sustainability Council and is responsible for driving projects in several areas including: local food, energy and water conservation, recycling, marketing, and education. Tessa holds degrees in both International Business and Global Sustainability, and specializes in communications, sustainable tourism, and program management. Tessa is a LEED Green Associate, and has spent nearly three combined years working abroad in Spain and Australia.
