The campus has converted several gasoline vehicles to LPG. In addition, we now are a smoke free campus.

All stationary sources on campus are regulated by an air permit required by the EPA and managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. We also report our GHG emissions from stationary sources to the EPA directly. We use the same methodology as mandated by the regulatory authorities for our permits for our campus GHG calculations.

A brief description of the institution’s initiatives to minimize air pollutant emissions from stationary sources, including efforts made during the previous three years:
Our emissions from stationary sources are directly related to our steam production. We have been improving our steam distribution systems to reduce leaks and maximize the return of hot condensate for use as make up water.
