Available daily during the fall, spring and summer semesters, Bikes on the Bay is a student bike sharing program that provides a fun and easy way to get around the Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC). This no-charge, no-cost service is available at the Wellness and Recreation Center.

Freebee is a free, on-demand, ride-sharing service available for students, faculty, and staff at FIU. The service is designed to provide safe and efficient transportation around the FIU campus and nearby areas. FIU has stations for electric vehicles very conveniently located on the 1st or 2nd floor of the parking garages.

Between the BBC, Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC), and Engineering Center, FIU has 14 Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations.

The Panther Express shuttle provides an alternative to driving between MMC and BBC. Panther Express departs Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., leaving every 30 minutes.
The CATS shuttle travels between MMC and the Engineering Center. The service operates two shuttles running continuously from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. when classes are in session.
The cities of Sweetwater and Doral have free public transportation trolley services with stops at MMC. At BBC, the City of North Miami offers a free transportation service to the public through the NoMi Express Trolley. In addition, several Miami-Dade County bus lines have stops at MMC.
