The FIU Food and Beverage Purchasing Inventory reflects data for the 2022 calendar year and was completed by Chartwells. The STARS template was used to record the products and to calculate the percentage totals.

The sustainability objectives that FIU’s Panther Dining food services provider Chartwells Higher Ed actively works to achieve include purchasing seafood from sustainable sources, yogurt and fluid milk free of artificial growth hormones, chicken and turkey produced without the routine use of human antibiotics, and Eco/Fair Trade Certified coffee.
