FIU is home to Global Learning for Global Citizenship, a program with the vision to "imbue members of the FIU community and beyond with the global awareness, perspective, and engagement necessary to act as global citizens, co-creating innovative, equitable, and sustainable solutions for our interconnected human and natural communities." In order to graduate with a bachelor's degree from FIU, students must take a minimum of two Global Learning (GL-designated) courses.
