Yes
A brief description of the textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project:
FGCU Library Textbook Affordability Project:
FGCU library received $40,000 to start a reserve collection of undergraduate textbooks. Beginning in the fall 2018 semester, undergraduate textbooks may be borrowed for 2 hours to use in the library.
Our library also offers textbooks from Redshelf:
After creating a free RedShelf account, students can borrow up to 7 e-books for up to 36 days each (loan period starts when the book is first accessed or after 30 days, whichever comes first). Search for your textbooks by title (please note: not all textbooks required for FGCU courses are available). RedShelf is partnering with the publishing community to provide students with free e-books from participating publishers.
