The Cannabis Professional Certificate Program: https://www.fgcu.edu/academics/ced/cannabiscertificate/ is an intensive 5-day workshop designed to meet the needs of those in the industry and community who want to increase their understanding of cannabis and its effects, the cannabis industry, and the environment in which it operates. The workshop will educate participants about the history of cannabis; cannabis laws and policies; the characteristics of the plant; cultivation and extraction techniques; cannabis as a business; and the physiology, pharmacology, medicinal uses of cannabis; and sustainable growth practices.
