A brief description of how and when the cultural assessment(s) were developed and/or adopted:
FGCU uses the ACUHO-I Quality of Residence Life Survey as a cultural assessment for campus residents. Students living on campus are sent an email to complete the survey. Incentives like gift cards, tablets, and other prizes encourage participation. Questions in the survey seek to better understand students’ satisfaction and learning outcomes associated with dining, room quality, and study habits as well as sustainability. Responses are on a 1-7 Likert scale with one being less satisfied and seven being more satisfied.
