Description of the methodology used to gather data about student commuting:

Flinders University 2022 Commuter Survey was open to all students for three days from 10-13 May 2022. Survey incentives of 3 x $100 vouchers were offered and 2629 responses were received. The survey was promoted on digital screens and the Plaza super screen and in staff and student newsletters, on Flinders Facebook and Twitter social media channels. The survey comprised 19 questions, with two questions about parking only visible to those who selected Bedford Park as their primary destination. One open ended question at the end allowed for free text responses and any other comments. Respondants comprised of 1583 students.

Flinders University 2022 Commuter Survey was open to all academic and professional staff for three days from 10-13 May 2022. Survey incentives of 3 x $100 vouchers were offered and 2629 responses  were received. The survey was promoted on digital screens and the Plaza super screen and in staff and student newsletters, on Flinders Facebook and Twitter social media channels. The survey comprised 19 questions, with two questions about parking only visible to those who selected Bedford Park as their primary destination. One open ended question at the end allowed for free text responses and any other comments. Respondants comprised of 247 Academics and 594 Professional Staff members.
