Electricity generated by on-site renewable systems:
Description of the on-site renewable systems:
At Bedford Park, we have installed solar panels on top of carparks which acts as shelter and on rooftops. We have solar panels equivalant to a 2.2 MW system that generates 20% of electricity needs at the campus.

Description of the certified off-site renewable sources of electricity:
The Willogoleche Wind Farm is located 5km from the town of Hallett in South Australia. The 32 turbines have a combined generation capacity of 119 MW. The energy is sold by Engie. RECs from this site are transferred into a University administered Clean Energy Regulator's account as part of PPA on a quarterly basis, for retirement (by the University) on an annual basis.

Notes about the information provided for this credit:
Of the total 17,421 student load, only the 14,850 Equivalent Full-time Student Load (EFTSL) Internal Onshore was utilised for Operational data calculations, as it includes all domestic and international students in on-campus and mixed delivery. The remaining 2,571 EFTSL distance students are not applicable in the data calculations, as they are composed of 1,838 external students (onshore students who follow a fully online study plan) and 733 international offshore students (international students not in Australia), as they would not be on campus at any time to use the facilities.
