Criteria
An institution earns 1 bonus point when it meets both of the following criteria:

Institution’s highest student voter participation rate in a local or national election or referendum held during the previous five years is 80 percent or more OR institution has earned a Platinum Seal from the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (US) within the previous three years.

Institution has been recognized for its leadership in voter education and support by one of the following programs during the previous three years:

- Champion Campus or Best in Class Campus (ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge)
- Voter Friendly Campus (US)
- An equivalent national or international leadership recognition program approved by AASHE
Partial points are available. An institution that meets one of the criteria earns 0.5 bonus points.
Measurement
Report on voter participation rates from within the previous five years and/or recognition received during the previous three years.
