A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
Bike racks are available to cycle commuters outside of major entrances to all buildings. Lockers are available to staff and students. Showers are available within the main building for staff and students to utilise. Although not located together, lockers and showers are available to be utilised by those who choose an active commute to the campus. The bicycle racks available provide more than sufficient parking spaces for bikes in convenient locations on campus. Frost campus has operation a bicycle loan program for a number of years.

Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking for all occupied buildings and makes long-term bicycle storage available for students who live on-site (if applicable)?:
Yes

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:
Yes. Bike racks are located outside of main enterences and residences. Long-term, sheltered bicycle storage is available to all students living on site. Bicycle racks provide plenty of parking spaces in convenient locations. The residences provide a storage shed to park bicycles in for long-term storage and shelter.

Yes

A brief description of the bicycle and pedestrian plan or policy:
Yes. The City of Peterborough has completed a Complete Streets Transportation Policy for the City with participation and recommendations from Fleming College. As a part of the most recent plan and street improvement projects completed was the Brealey Drive project where the College is located. This project brought wider lanes to support on-road cycling to the College, separate wide multi-use path (4.5 m) for recreational cyclists and pedestrians, sidewalks on both sides of the road, and improvements to support transit (Completed 2015).

Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
Yes

A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
The Fleming SAC has implemented the Zagster bike share program in 2017. Students and staff can become a member and pay the appropriate rates for the use of the equipment. The Frost Sustainable Campus Initiative and the Frost Student Assoc. have sponsored a bike loan program since Fall 2011. Bikes are available to both students and staff for a 24-hr period and come with a bike lock. Bikes can be signed out at the BioService Commons Desk. The program also provides free bike repair workshops at various times throughout the year. The College provides bikes, tools, and equipment needed to gain introductory bike repair skills in this workshop guided by an experienced bicycle mechanic.

A brief description of the mass transit programs:
As of September 2016, a public transit bus pass will be included in the (mandatory) tuition ancillary fees of all students at Sutherland campus. In 2018-2019 we issued more than 4000 transit passes to students at Sutherland Campus. Using your home and work addresses, you can find a carpool, transit, cycling or walking pool that matches your commute. You can search for nearby commuters looking for carpool, biking, or walking partners. This Rideshare Portal is a powerful and convenient way to track all of your commuting activity.

Three charging station available at the Sutherland Campus. All three stations are free to use for charging provided that you have a parking permit or pay to park at the machine. Machines are all Leviton and registered on a website call Chargepoint

Fleming provides full-time staff a condensed work week option during the summer months - May through August. During that time, full-time staff may opt to work longer hours on some days to provide for a half day or full day off in the week. Variations to the scheduling could include: - Starting earlier each day - Working later each day - Combination of starting earlier and working later - Shortened lunch break to a minimum of 30 minutes Participation in a condensed work week is subject to supervisory approval.
