A FIRST YEAR STUDENT SURVEY IS CONDUCTED IN THE FALL OF EACH YEAR. THE SURVEY INCLUDES AN EXTENSIVE SECTION ON EDUCATION EQUITY TO HELP LINK STUDENTS WITH STUDENT SERVICES. The survey includes the following:
"The College is committed to Education Equity. To help determine equity trends in the college we would appreciate it if you could answer the following questions.

Do you identify as an Aboriginal or Indigenous person of Canada, or as having First Nation, Métis, or Inuit ancestry? Fleming College has culturally appropriate support services and activities. This includes financial assistance in the form of funding, bursaries, awards and scholarships.
Do you give permission for us to update your Aboriginal status on our student system so we may send you information about various services available to you at Fleming and within the broader Aboriginal community?
